We want to keep you abreast of a special CUE expansion and restructuring announcement.
Over the past eighteen months, CUE has undergone a tremendous transformation of back-end systems and service-oriented process improvement, with a focus on affiliate and membership support. As we move into 2019 and look toward the future, the CUE Board has decided to expand our senior leadership team to ensure that CUE continues to be the leader in edtech conferences, educational technology advocacy, member experience, and professional learning. As part of this expansion, we are pleased to announce that Jon Corippo will be focusing his full talents and passions on developing and supporting our professional learning opportunities, educational partnerships, and support of teaching and learning as CUE’s new Chief Learning Officer (CLO).
As of this week, the CUE Board is opening the search for our next Executive Director. This individual will work closely with Jon, CUE staff, and the Board to help guide CUE into the future and beyond. The Board has employed HR Pals recruiting services to oversee the search process in coordination with the Board Executive Committee and the Search Committee. During the search, Jon will hold the dual roles of Executive Director and CLO with the full support and trust of the Board.
“Jon has been instrumental in CUE’s backend and service-oriented transformation. We’re very excited to be in a position now to allow Jon to focus his time and energy on growing our innovative world-class professional development programs to support teachers and school districts in transforming learning for all students.” – Andrew Schwab, Board President
“We have a great staff and are looking to bring on board someone that is active in CUE, has senior leadership experience in education and can help us open up new avenues and possibilities as the premier educational non-profit on the west coast.” – Jason Borgen, Board Vice President, and Treasurer.
CUE represents nearly 25,000 educators throughout California and Nevada, with 22 local affiliates, learning networks, and over 100 unique edtech events per year.
