Every Tuesday 7-8pm PST
#CUEchat is both a weekly Twitter chat and an ongoing conversation across social media that connects CUE members, resources, and new ideas. Each week is powered by a unique voice.
The first week of #cuechat each month is powered by the CUE Leadership Development team, April Buege and Dustin Ellis. With an emphasis on organizational leadership and overall CUE vision, April, Dustin, and guest moderators turn this into a forward-thinking, visionary conversation that always sets a feel-good tone for the month.
If you’re feeling edgy, wild, and raw, then you will absolutely love the second week of #cuechat powered by the CUE Rock Star team. Jon Corippo, Executive Director of CUE, started running Rock Star Teacher Camps back in 2008. They’ve grown exponentially in popularity, and the extreme voice of rock star educators and administrators is not to be overlooked. If you have a sense of wonder, curiosity, and innovation, this conversation will keep you on your toes!
The third week of each month brings the voices of #ConnectedTL to the #cuechat community. Following the Fall CUE conference in 2014, the @ConnectedTL community was born to bring together current and aspiring teacher-leaders (TOSAs, Instructional Coaches, and Support Providers). Moderated by the passionate team that includes Nicole Beardsley, Kristina Allison, Tom Covington, Stephanie Fillardo, and Cate Tolnai, this conversation brings together a wide variety of educators who inspire each other to reach new limits both on Twitter and Voxer.
The fourth week of #cuechat each month is powered by CUE Learning Networks, each with niche areas of learning and innovation. Spearheaded by Vicky Sedgwick, these chats offer CUE members an opportunity to dive deeply into specialty areas like computer science and video production, while also welcoming curious educators who are looking to hone their skills and discover new ones.
When the calendar graces us with a fifth Tuesday, #cuechat captures the voices of CUE Affiliates. Supported by Jason Seliskar, these teams of regional leaders volunteer time and resources to make local events happen for members throughout California and Nevada. Whether you are on an Affiliate board or just getting started with CUE, this chat is sure to bring awareness to resources and people near you.
